JOB SUMMARY

The Digital Marketing Director role is critical to the business success of SUBNET and in driving business to help
SUBNET grow. It is the essential function of the Digital Marketing Director to be accountable for the
coordination, organization, and maintaining of all SUBNET digital and traditional marketing activities, events,
tradeshows, communications, materials, budgets, and marketing databases to leverage SUBNET in the market
place according to the company’s strategic plan and goals. You should have in-depth marketing experience
and a passion for digital technologies with forward-thinking ideas to build a maintain a strong company web
presence.

This position is responsible for leading and mentoring SUBNET employees and contractors in event planning
and other marketing initiatives. This position will work closely with the SUBNET executive team to define
marketing strategies and ensure consistency through all digital marketing channels.

various technologies, engineering teams, and client types.

The Digital Marketing Director reports to the President.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Directing and Overseeing the delivery on SUBNET’s digital and traditional Marketing strategy.
  • Directing and executing a marketing strategy that contains a clear action plan, timeline and
    milestone(s).
  • Build SUBNET’s digital marketing roadmap.
  • Direct and manage all digital marketing channels (e.g. website, blogs, emails and social media) to
    ensure brand consistency.
  • Measure ROI and KPIs and prepare budgets.
  • Develop specific campaigns to create and maintain high levels of customer interaction.
  • Oversee our social media accounts.
  • Manage and improve online content.
  • Forecast sales performance trends and act proactively to increase our market segment.
  • Direct the marketing and sales team to increase client satisfaction through cohesive strategie.
  • Motivate digital marketing team to achieve goals.
  • Monitor competition and provide ideas to stand out.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology developments.

Marketing Collateral

  • Establish and administer complete online web seminar marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee the setup and administer mass-email applications and servers.
  • Oversee the writing and editing of case studies, press releases, brochures and web copy.
  • Oversee the design graphics for web and print.
  • Design, develop, and maintain the company website and online store.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
  • 8+ years of software marketing/product management experience.
  • Experience in the Electric Utilities Transmission industry preferred.
  • BSc degree in Marketing, Digital technologies or relevant field.
  • Proven work experience as a Digital marketing director.
  • Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing successful digital marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of how all current digital marketing channels function.
  • Solid knowledge of online marketing tools and best practices.
  • Hands on experience with SEO/SEM, Google Analytics and CRM software.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management software and Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with web design.
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills.
  • Strong team management and communication (written and verbal) skills.
