Core Platform Capabilities
- NERC CIP Intermediate System for IED Access Control
- Unified Relay Event File Collection and Archiving
- Unified Asset Monitoring
- Unified Data Historian Interfaces
Key Benefits
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Integrate all devices, regardless of manufacturer or model
- Eliminate human performance issues and errors
- Protect your existing device investment
Used by dozens of the largest T&D companies in the US, PowerSYSTEM Center provides a central source of truth for all your devices with automated baseline monitoring, remote access control, and automatic scheduled password changes.
Who it serves
Built for OT Security Officers fighting spreadsheet drift.
Problem in the field
You need a current inventory without living in spreadsheets. Spreadsheets drift. Vendor tools show only their own gear. Audits need one picture.
How PowerSYSTEM Center helps
PowerSYSTEM Center maintains an always-fresh inventory of your relays, RTUs, gateways, and switches, including firmware versions where device support exists. It connects to each managed device on a schedule using authenticated sessions, pulling model, firmware, and configuration details directly from the device. Assets are grouped by site, vendor, and model. PowerSYSTEM Center flags issues that raise risk: outdated firmware, default or shared credentials, missing password policy coverage, and unreachable devices. End-of-support status can be tracked using vendor data you load into PowerSYSTEM Center.
Real-time updates
The inventory stays current as PowerSYSTEM Center re-queries your managed devices on a recurring schedule. Changes in firmware, configuration, or reachability are captured automatically, with enough detail to plan action. Evidence exports feed security reviews and capital planning.
Proven impact
Replaces spreadsheet-based tracking with continuous automated inventory across your entire managed fleet.
Evidence and control
Exports by station or time window with model, firmware, and last-seen.
Frequently asked questions
How are devices identified?
PowerSYSTEM Center connects to each managed device using authenticated sessions and reads identification data directly from the device, including model number, firmware version, and configuration details. Each device is tracked by its known address, vendor, model, and firmware, giving you a reliable fingerprint for every asset in your fleet.
What about end-of-life tags?
PowerSYSTEM Center tracks end-of-life status by comparing device firmware versions against vendor lifecycle databases that you can import. Devices approaching or past end-of-support are flagged with risk scores and recommended actions, helping prioritize replacement planning.
How do you handle unsupported firmware?
Unsupported firmware versions are automatically flagged in the inventory with risk indicators. PowerSYSTEM Center can integrate with vulnerability databases to correlate unsupported versions with known security issues, providing a clear upgrade priority list.
Can you discover unknown devices?
PowerSYSTEM Center identifies and inventories the devices you configure it to manage. It does not scan networks for unknown devices. When you add a new device to PowerSYSTEM Center, it connects, authenticates, and pulls full identification details automatically. This approach avoids sending unexpected traffic on sensitive OT networks.
How accurate is the inventory?
PowerSYSTEM Center maintains high inventory accuracy by connecting directly to each managed device on a recurring schedule and reading details at the source. Because it authenticates into the device rather than inferring from network traffic, the data reflects the actual state of each asset.
Supports evidence for asset and configuration records in IEC 62443 / NIS2.
