About This Event
CIGRE Canada 2023 was the 18th Annual CIGRE Canada Conference and Exhibition, held September 25-28, 2023 at the Westin Bayshore in Vancouver, British Columbia, under the theme "Evolution of the Power System to Accelerate Electrification." The conference brought together key players in the electric power systems sector including business leaders, system operators, manufacturers, engineers, scientists, policymakers, regulators, and academics. The program included eight workshops, two technical visits, all-day technical meetings, poster sessions, and a trade exhibition, with BC Hydro serving as the host utility.
